2045 is calling – our new SBTi verified net-zero goal

Under the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a company is only considered to have reached net-zero when it has cut its emissions by at least 90% and neutralised any residual emissions. This means that under the SBTi, we wouldn’t be able to reach net-zero by 2025 and so we have extended our target goal.

SBTi have now verified our new net-zero target of a 90% carbon reduction by 2045. This is our long term reduction target. We also have a near-term target to reduce our scope 1 & 2 emissions by 42% and measure scope 3 to meet the global goal of 1.5°C by 2030.

As a business, we will continue to find ways of reducing the carbon emissions from our business in-line with our long-term science-based net-zero goal for 2045 – and help our clients, colleagues, suppliers and others in our wider network to do the same.
