A week in the life of AG…

After a week of work experience with AG Comms, it is easy to say that my opinion of the corporate world has changed. What I expected as a year 12 college student is quite the antithesis of AG’s intersectional approach.

I attended one to ones with powerful, purpose driven women. As well as virtual meetings attended by numerous businesses with climate action at their core. I got to watch as my learnings within education got put into action to secure long term value over short term gain.

Whilst I expected to learn from AG Comms, I didn’t expect the excitement that resonates with every person I interacted with. To see a company in which good people do good is inspiring and after this one week I feel confident and eager to continue my fight for people and the planet.

I have learnt the magnitude of human experience within not only a business but the climate crisis. AG comms has highlighted the relevancy of social impact within climate action. They look at the big picture. Through working virtually, employees can balance work and home life, which is something completely new to me. I was surprised by the success of this flexible approach.

I hope to take away the mindset and strategies of AG Comms into my college and even everyday life. Along with eating a lot more Tony’s Chocolonely! I just wanted to say thank you to Lynne AG Comms Founder and all her dedicated team for this experience and the confidence it has given me.
